Geneva Evans was born and raised in Newark, New Jersey. From early adolescence to adulthood, her life was torn apart by physical abuse and sexual abuse. For twenty-five years her life spiraled out of control because of drug addiction and the trauma of abuse. Her life became a complete train wreck until one day a miracle happened and she found Jesus! Determined to turn her life around, Geneva came back to God through prayer, strength, and sheer determination. With the help of almighty God, she conquered the demon of drug addiction and has been clean and sober twenty-five   years.  

She authored a book, From Agony to Grace in 2010 which is her story, the story of a woman-once a little girl who loved to jump rope and play with her dolls, but became troubled by the circumstances of her life. Geneva has a wealth of expertise and wise counsel to offer women who have been physically, sexually, emotionally, and verbally abused. With God's help, she will unquestionably attain her dream to become a full-time advocate for abused women. From Agony to Grace begins that work, offering help to women of all ages and in all situations. This book details my life and the miraculous power of our God. 

Genevas’ formal education is a graduate of New Brunswick Theological Seminary Masters Of Arts in Ministry and Community Leadership, Pillar College with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Counseling.  Additionally, Geneva has completed training in Crisis Management, Infectious Disease, Developmental Disabilities, Preventing Abuse and Neglect, Medication Recertification, CPR and First Aid.   

Geneva launched her own ministry, Just One Touch Ministries years ago.   It is an outreach ministry to women and have ministered to many in shelters and prisons   The heart of Just One Touch is to serve abused women and children who have gone through abuse of any sort.  We help women and their children in repairing their lives to become healthy families, by giving them the support they need in many capacities.  

She is a mother of three children Calvin, Keisha and Terrence, whom she love very dearly.  Two grandchildren Alexis and Marcel, who are dear to her heart.  

Geneva is a proud member of the Cathedral International in Perth Amboy, NJ under the leadership of Bishop Donald Hilliard, Jr.  She has been active at the Cathedral in many capacities especially ministering to the broken women.
